Photography

It all started when…

…I was a kid growing up in New Hampshire. My dad hung a Pentax Spotmatic around my neck, grabbed his Nikon F3 or Canon A1, and said, “Let’s go for a walk…”

I've been taking pictures most of my life. I've won a couple awards for my photos and videos, and I've been fortunate enough to have some of my wedding and portrait work featured in a few distinctive publications and gallery shows, which is a lot of fun.

But the truth is I just love capturing images that draw out the the unique personality, the story, or the emotion of an individual, a place, or a scene. Taking pictures is the only way I know of to make time stand still. And when I can do that in a way that reveals something of the soul, evokes a memory, or captures a feeling… I think that’s kind of magical.
